Unless you’ve had the privilege of eating one before, ClemenGold® is like nothing on earth. This wonder citrus boasts an unparalleled combination of flavour, aroma, juiciness and awe-inspiring appearance.
But the real surprise is inside: lusciously juicy and subtly fragranced seedless flesh with a delectable taste that’s as naturally sweet as honey.
ClemenGold® growers take pride in nurturing young seedlings to become fruit bearing trees that carry fruit that is fragrantly ripe and ready to eat. Fertile soil, warm sunshine, rainy days, a great deal of enthusiasm and tender loving care all come into play. Together these elements create a harmony that reflects the golden standard, which makes ClemenGold® so special. Great care is taken when picking and packing the fruit.
The major sugars present in citrus fruits are: glucose, fructose, sucrose and myo-inositol and comprise up to 75% to 90% of total soluble solids in citrus juice.
Sucrose is the major constituent accounting for 50% of the total sugar in sweet citrus (mandarins). Fructose is present in a slightly larger amount than glucose.
The reducing sugar contents (sum of glucose and fructose) in lemons, limes and grapefruits (50.4-75.8%) are significantly higher than the contents of the nonreducing sugar- sucrose.
Lemons have the lowest amount of total sugars.
The sweet juiciness of ClemenGold® delights citrus lovers the world over, from South Africa to Asia, from Europe to America. Add your voice to our international conversation.

ClemenGold®’s heart beats warmly and generously. For us corporate social investment comes naturally.
Our involvement in development means that we are actively involved corporate citizens in a world that needs hope and direct interventions.
We respond to specific requests for support and identify individuals or causes that resonate with our brand’s ethos. Some projects require once-off contributions, while we become medium to long-term partners with others with the aim of having a lasting impact in terms of socio-economic development.
Naturally we also focus on the improvement of the lives of our employees, their families and the communities in which they live. Support to crèches, artists, students, sportsmen and personnel count among these projects.
There is no doubt that proper education is one of the main pillars of development which has the power to change lives dramatically. We believe in addressing needs from crèche and early childhood development level, to establishments offering a safe place for children to do their homework in the afternoons (often called drop-in centres), to schools and ultimately empowering individuals to attain formal education and training towards a viable career.
With our feet planted firmly in the soil of various provinces of South Africa, we are dedicated to make a lasting contribution in terms of environmental sustainability.
