ClemenGolds ripen naturally in the orchard before they are picked and packed by hand. Thereafter, it has to meet very strict quality criteria to ensure the high quality, taste and convenience that people enjoy of ClemenGold:
- It must have 48% juice content.
- It must have 11% Brix (sugar) level.
- Its acid level must be between 0.7% and 1.3%.
- It must be virtually seedless.
- One fruit unit may not contain more than three seeds.
- It must be packed in a carton type that the importer specifies.
- Carton or fruit labels must state ClemenGold.
- The Grupotec label must state Nadorcott.
- The buyer requires the price look up (PLU) code as Clementine or Mandarin.
- The time-temperature protocol for Clementines is managed.
